For Textiles and Clothing this week, we did something called the "Napkin Technique". It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed myself alot.. Even though I enjoy sewing more, I thought painting was a very good medium to unleash your creativity as well. Nowonder, some people paint when they're not feeling good.

First of, we had to paint our boxes with 3 coats of paint. We could paint with any colour we thought was suitable for our own pieces.. I decided to choose white as my coffee napkins were mostly light brown and yellow.

I'm personally a coffee lover so I decided to choose the Cafe Napkin. I cut out the squares and pasted them onto the 4 corners of the box as seen below.

One week later...

We came back to varnish our boxes to give it a *shine*!

Tadaa!
