♥ An interactive website we could create..
Hi guys,
Last Semester, Zul and I created a Food and Nutrition website using Ning.com for one of our project modules. The website is as follows: http://live-an-exuberant-life.ning.com/. Even though this website is just a sample which we created, we could actually take into consideration creating one for our classes next time. The website is almost an all-in-one medium to encourage self-directed as well as collaborative learning. Reason being it has built-in blogs, forums, pictures and videos playback, event management, notes and so on. Thus, it is almost similar to yahoo groups and such just that this is more interactive.

The blog can be used by both teachers and students to maybe reflect on what they have learnt or share what they have discovered.
The Forum can be used during E-Learning Sessions or for students to clear their doubts or ask for opinions from their fellow classmates.
Videos are a great learning medium nowadays. Both teacher and students could upload them on the website and share them with their fellow classmates.
The teacher could upload important documents or notes for his/her students.
Personally, I find this website very inovative. Even though it is still not as widely known to the public, unlike Facebook or Yahoo Groups. As long as more people use it, it will definitely become a hit sooner or later. :)
